What a Week! Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg Celebrates Birthday, Girl Friend’s Graduation, raises $16 Million and gets MARRIED!

The Founder/CEO of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg has an exciting update on his Facebook Timeline and it’s not about money – He is MARRIED!

The Facebook CEO has been in the limelight for financial reasons especially with the initial public offering (IPO) of Facebook’s shares on the Nasdaq stock exchange raising a record breaking $16 billion.  576 million shares changed hands and the company set a trading volume record for U.S. market debuts raising $16 million on Friday.

The following Saturday, the limelight switched from money to romance, when he tied the knot with his girlfriend of 9 years, Priscilla Chan in a small and private wedding in his backyard.

The 28 year old CEO had a fantastic week last week because prior to the wedding, Monday was his birthday which also happened to be the same day that his finance, now wife graduated from Medical School, at the University of California, San Francisco.

The wedding ring was designed by Mr. Zuckerberg, which according a Facebook rep had a “very simple ruby.”
